Starting something new
If you’re starting something new, it’s important to remember that sometimes you win and sometimes you learn. I get that it’s hard to accept that. I’ve been there. For example, when I first started my last career as a hairstylist, I “learned” a lot. Sometimes, I wanted to cry, scream, storm out, and quit, sometimes on a daily basis-I was a LOT less zen, then.
The only way to make it through the rough times and get to the reward is to keep going.
I had to keep going and learn from my mistakes. I still do. We all do. To master something it takes grit and resilience. The more you face challenges, the more you master them. You learn what works and what doesn't.
None of us are perfect.
None of us are perfect- hard to accept… I know. The minute you come to terms with being flawed (like all of us), you will be less hard on yourself when you fail and choose to look at challenges as, well... challenges.
Give yourself room to grow.
Give yourself room to make mistakes, room to grow, and room to become who you want to be. We can all improve our abilities and knowledge. By doing so, you open yourself up to more possibilities. Be open-minded and treat yourself well.
